don't pee on my floor

My grandson is learning to pee in the toilet , I see him rum to the bathroom, so I look in on him. He had one hand holding up the lid and the other holding is shirt up. I ask if he peed on my floor, He looks at the floor and said"no" I ask so what this? and point to the rug, he said pee on the rug. OK he had me there he did not pee on the floor, I just had to walk away and laugh.
